Eligibility: Nominees must hold current AFCPE membership at the time of submission or nomination. If not a member learn more and click to join.

Education program nominations must align with and adhere to:

The AFC Core Competencies
The AFCPE Mission
The AFCPE Code of Ethics

Award Criteria:

  • Purpose and goals are clearly stated, with a justified need and identified target audience.
  • Collaborators or partners are included when appropriate.
  • Materials and content are innovative and suitable for the audience.
  • Presentation methods reflect sensitivity to literacy levels, learning styles, and diversity.
  • The presentation is engaging, interactive, and holds attention.
  • Evaluation demonstrates increased knowledge or behavior change.
  • The material can be adapted or used by other practitioners.
